Todd Etzweiler — Stated that a professional audit by a CPA should be performed on the Halifax Fire Department since it has not been audited by a professional in the past.

PSP performed a Commercial truck detail with 40 inspections, placing 10 trucks and 8 truck drivers out of service. Noted it is illegal for 53-foot tractor trailers to travel over Peters Mountain. Shared that PSP is making changes in recruiting. Reported 2018 National Night Out was a success and 2019 National Night Out will be held August 7, 2019.

PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT

Planning Commission Report - February 4, 2019

The Planning Commission recommended approval of the Nightwine Subdivision contingent on addressing Tom Wilson's comments of February 1, 2019. The commission determined the Farhat new building did not require a land development plan due to similar use to existing structures, and accepted Ty and Lana Shoop's plans for a side yard addition. Discussion on a sign ordinance included research into other municipalities' ordinances.
