Roadmaster Report
Roadmaster Matt Roland reported that boom mowing was done throughout Halifax Township, the second round of road mowing has started, trees on Price Road were removed, and mowing began at Fort Halifax Park in preparation for fireworks on Saturday, August 16, 2025. New tires were put on the batwing mower.
Friends of Fort Halifax Report
Scott Theurer's report noted that Mrs. Meguire, a 7th grade science teacher at Halifax Area School District, requested approval to use Fort Halifax Park for her annual science field trip on Friday, September 12, 2025, with several science-based workstations. Supervisor McBurney motioned to approve (seconded by Supervisor Paul, passed 5-0).
Nuisance Report
Supervisor Bruner motioned to send a nuisance letter to 3371 Peters Mountain Road, as everything appears to have been moved from the inside of the house to the outside (seconded by Supervisor McBurney, passed 5-0).

Joseph Kanfer of Cunningham, Chernicoff & Warshawsky presented the proposed property vacations: Fetterhoff's to vacate portions totaling approximately 0.070 acres from the former Keiffer Right-of-Way and Tobias Substandard Lot; Bixler's to vacate approximately 0.087 acres; and Shoop's to receive 0.810 acres from the former Tobias Substandard Lot and vacate 0.071 acres of the former Keiffer Road Right-of-Way. SALDO requirements will be waived.
Solicitor Warshawsky presented the Deed of Dedication for the road leading into Fort Halifax Park. Supervisor McBurney motioned to approve the deed (seconded by Supervisor Schreffler, passed 5-0). Supervisor McBurney also reported having lunch with Lori from DCNR to discuss funding for Fort Halifax Park.
