Sycamore Ridge waivers approved (4-0): The commission unanimously granted five waivers for the Sycamore Ridge development: private streets (built to township specs), no curbing on internal roads, sidewalks on one side only for interior streets, street lighting conditioned on a photometric review of proposed pole lights, and street trees at 50-foot spacing. A sidewalk connection from the southern entrance to Hoffman Drive will be required once sidewalk south of Hoffman Drive is built, and a crosswalk to the adjacent school property is being explored with PennDOT.
Sycamore Ridge preliminary plan recommended for conditional approval (4-0): The commission voted unanimously to recommend the Sycamore Ridge preliminary plans to the Board of Supervisors, conditioned on the developer addressing remaining comments from HRG engineer Alex Greenly.
